From the 1st April 2013, the Government introduced new legislation that changed the way in which we are able to handle personal injury cases. Prior to this date, if your claim was successful, you would get to keep 100% of the compensation recovered and the losing side would cover all of the legal costs.
The new rules still allow us to offer a No Win, No Fee service but they also allow us to recover what is known as a “success fee” from your compensation if your claim is successful. The rules state that the maximum limit on the amount of the success fee we can recover from your compensation is 25%. Therefore we expect that in the majority of cases you will still receive a minimum of 75% of the compensation recovered and we will do everything in our power to get the maximum amount you deserve for your claim.
